Background
To celebrate International Coffee Day, Merivale teamed up with Kahlúa for an Espresso Martini promotion across all of its Sydney venues. We were asked to produce a content piece to support the campaign.
Idea
First invented in 1983, the Espresso Martini has gone on to enjoy serious icon status. But as it turns out, the classic cocktail wasn’t the only iconic moment that year. We asked Mr Wong bartender Tash Capol to give us the lowdown.
Impact
Turns out people love an Espresso Martini. Strong engagement on Merivale and Kahlúa’s owned digital channels supported heavy customer uptake of the offer across all venues for the duration of the campaign.
